"A New Year's resolution is something that goes in one Year and out the other."

Happy New Year to all of our subscribers! Looking to cast out the old and usher in some new ideas to reach people? Then, resolve to do the following for...
Didn't get your Christmas cards out on time? No worries! People get inundated by Christmas cards, so if you really want to stand out, send a New Year's Eve card. Print a message on a flattened New Year's Eve party hat that reads, "Our New Year's Eve resolution is to treat you right!" Include a treat from your establishment, such as a discount offer, a free promotional item, or an invitation to attend a "by invitation only" special event.
Ask employees, or departments, to write down a resolution that will help the company in the New Year that they can achieve by a certain goal date. On that goal date, have a Resolutions Resolved party and reward all of the employees who achieved their goal. Or, enter every employee who completed his or her goal into a grand prize drawing.
Prior to your New Year's Eve celebration, ask each guest to share one of their New Year's resolutions with you. Ask them to share something that is not too personal—something they would be happy for everyone to know about. Post each of these resolutions on a separate piece of paper, assign a unique number to each and display them at your party. If everyone at the party does not know one another, you should also ask each guest to bring in a photograph. Display each guest's photo with his or her name written in beneath it.
Give each guest a Resolutions game card, asking him or her to match the name of the guest to the resolution they made. For instance, if they think that "1. Read a book a month" is Susan's resolution, they place Susan's name next to the number one on the Resolutions card. Guests turn in completed cards by a certain time. Once all cards are collected, reveal whose resolution is whose. Award a prize to the guest who guessed the most correctly. Or, enter ties into a prize drawing.
