Cap It Off

“A graduation ceremony is an event where the commencement speaker tells thousands of students dressed in identical caps and gowns that 'individuality' is the key to success."
- Robert Orben

This graduation season, you’ll be sure to graduate at the head of the class if you do something special for...

...Your Customers

Give your customers a “student ID.” Each time they make a purchase during graduation season, they graduate to a better discount. For instance, the first time they make a purchase, mark their card and give them 5% off. The next time they make a purchase, mark their card again and give them 10% off. You may want to cap this promotion to a certain number of purchases. Enter all customers who mark off all spaces on their card into a prize drawing at the end of the promotional period by placing their name in a graduation cap. Award a prize to the person whose name is drawn out. Or, award a donation to the school of the winner’s choice.

...Your Employees

Set up “classrooms” – tables where employees learn about your company - in your break room. For instance, at the History table, employees learn interesting facts about the company’s history. At the Math table, employees can learn how they can earn more through the company incentive plan, etc. Employees can get a diploma after visiting all of the tables. Or, award a diploma to all employees who pass a test incorporating fun trivia they would have learned by visiting these tables. Employees’ names are written on these diplomas and all are entered into a grand prize drawing.

...Your Friends & Family

Ask family and friends to bring a copy of their favorite photo of the graduate to your graduation party. Unfurl a roll of craft paper and hang it on a wall in your home. Place double-sided scotch tape and different colored pads of post-it notes by the paper. Ask guests to write a personal message to the graduate on one of the post-it notes and hang it by the photo, which they should also adhere to the craft paper with the double-sided scotch tape. Give this photo wall to the graduate as a keepsake of their special day.

Want to capture precious memories and entertain your guests at your graduation party? You’ll get top marks if you implement our do-it-yourself photo scavenger hunt found on our sister company’s website at http://www.mastersofthehunt.com/photo-scavenger-hunt.php.
