It's Leap year! With the extra day Wildly Different is helping the 50 VOLUNTEERS IN 5 HOURS service project at the Community Food & Outreach Center
Orlando, FL (February 29, 2012) – Wildly Different, a Florida team building company specializing in unique corporate team building experiences is partnering with the Community Food & Outreach Center in support of the 50 VOLUNTEERS IN 5 HOURS service project on Leap Day, February 29th. This project is all about helping our community and is a wildly wonderful way to celebrate this special day - with caring!
Not everyone is so lucky as to choose how to spend an extra day, or even an hour. Do what you can on this special day to get involved and play a key role in the lives of those who need help the most.
Every four years the calendar allows a Leap Day. Together we can make a positive and meaningful difference in 5 hours by lending a helping hand. Join us for this project and help families in need and our community as a whole.
The 50 VOLUNTEERS IN 5 HOURS service project event is open to the community, begins at 11am and concludes at 4pm. Volunteers are encouraged to come for an hour or come for all five. Every minute of every hour makes a big difference and impacts the lives of many Central Floridians struggling to meet daily needs for food, clothing and basic services.
Team building company Wildly Different is committed to giving back to the community by creating awareness and engaging local non-profit organizations to make a significant and positive difference in the world. Simply put, the Wildly Different team building team knows how good it feels to help. In fact, some of the most popular activities offered by the company are the charitable give back activities. It is through these team building event activities that Wildly Different and Community Food & Outreach Center formed a strong partner relationship.
The mission of the Community Food & Outreach Center is to provide food and hope to those in need in Central Florida. They do this by providing food to hungry families, crises services and educational programs to assist families fighting to break the cycle of poverty.
