The Apprentice Team Building Event
Creative Team Building Event Overview
Who will be voted “Most Likely To Be Hired?” The participant that does their best to help their colleagues – not drag them down - in a series of challenges featured throughout this creative team building event.
In the television show The Apprentice, competitors earn scathing remarks from their teammates as they all try to avoid being fired. In The Accomplice, competitors earn kudos from their teammates as they all work together to be hired.
This creative team building event kicks off with participants being put onto a team. After being briefed on the event, teams receive their first challenge. Challenges can be customized to highlight the group’s objectives and the company can receive a list of challenges to choose from. However, recommendations for challenges include:
Product Innovation – Each team receives the same materials. They are challenged to create a prototype for a new invention that will revolutionize their industry using these materials. In addition to creating the prototype, teams must also put together a sales pitch to entice venture capitalists into backing the development of this invention.
And…
Ad Campaign – Each team is given a video camera and challenged to come up with a new ad campaign that touches on a series of company objectives. Will they be able to get the message across in one 60-second spot?
Teams get a limited timeframe to complete their challenge. Then, it’s time for presentations! Instead of presenting to “The Donald” they present to one another.
As the votes are tallied, participants take a break. When they return, they are reassigned to a new team to compete in a second challenge. Teams complete the second challenge, present and vote again for their favorite team and individual.
At the end of this creative team building event, the participants on the teams that won each challenge are called front and center to receive their just rewards. In addition, the individuals who received the most votes from their colleagues are named “Most Likely To Be Hired” and honored with a trophy.
