Wildly Different Promotional Campaign FAQs

Who does each promotional campaign target?

Most health club marketing utilizes pictures of young, beautifully sculpted people. This can actually frighten off the majority of your potential members who may be more mature and / or overweight. Like our name, our health club marketing materials are wildly different. They incorporate non-threatening, mostly humorous images designed to appeal to everyone.

Why do you feature a trial membership offer and / or contest in each campaign?

Campaigns are designed to get people to experience your club. Promotions focus on trial memberships, events and tell-a-friend campaigns that get people into your club. The idea is to get potential members to fall in love with your club and, to get them in the habit of working out so you can convert them into lifelong members.

In what format is the promotional campaign?

All materials are delivered to you as Adobe PDF files. To view these documents you must have an Adobe Acrobat Reader. To download a free Adobe Acrobat Reader visit http://ww.adobe.com.

The postcards, posters, email headers and border templates are also delivered to you as EPS files, a format all professional printers prefer. To view these documents you must have Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. However, without this software you can still email to, or put this file on disk for, your printer.

Promotional campaign materials are zipped. To unzip these documents you must have or download free WinZip software. To unzip documents, start WinZip and click Next in the welcome panel. In the Select activity panel choose Unzip and click Next. Select the Zip file we sent you by clicking on it and click Next. In the Unzip panel use Select different folder to choose the folder where you wish to store the promotional campaign documents on your computer then click Unzip now.

If you prefer not to download promotional campaign materials from the Internet, you may request a CD with the promotional campaign materials for an additional $10 fee to cover shipping and handling.

When will I receive my promotional campaign?

Details on how to download the promotional campaign materials are emailed to you within minutes of placing your order. Alternatively, if you chose to receive a CD with the promotional materials, estimated time of delivery is 3-5 business days.

How do I print the marketing materials?

You can print the poster and the border paper on your inkjet or laser printer. For better quality, email, or put the files on disk for, a professional printer. A professional printer can also alter the size of the poster and border paper, which are set to print as an 8 ½” x 11” document.

It is best to have postcards printed by a professional. Email the file to, or put the file on disk for, a professional printer. For best results, use crisp, bright-white 80-pound linen stock.

For low-cost professional postcard printing search the Internet for a company that specializes in high-volume printing.

How do I import my logo and contact information into the postcard?

Email your logo, or put your logo on disk for, a professional printer. Ask the printer to import your logo into the section labeled “logo for XYZ Company goes here.” Provide the printer with the contact information you wish to include on the postcard such as your address, telephone number, email address and website address. Ask the printer to replace the contact information labeled “123 Anywhere St, Anytown ST 12345, 123-456-7890” with your contact information.

Alternatively, if you have Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop software, you can import the logo and contact information yourself. Simply cut and paste the logo into the section labeled “logo for XYZ Company goes here.” Type over the contact information labeled “123 Anywhere St, Anytown ST 12345, 123-456-7890” to insert your contact information.

How do I use the email header?

If you have Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop and know how to use an HTML Editor such as Front Page or Dreamweaver, you can cut and paste the email header image from the EPS file into your HTML Editor, attach your message and send it out to your email database.

If you do not know how to use an HTML Editor, we recommend that you send the email header EPS file, along with the text for your email message and email database list to an inexpensive, reputable online email service such as http://www.virtualresponse.com.
